Samsung has launched its latest gaming monitor from the Odyssey line. The Odyssey Oled G9 measures 49 inches and has an 1800R curvature. It claims to be the first oled display with dual qhd resolution (5,120 x 1,440) with a 32:9 aspect ratio. The blood-fast panel offers gtg response times of 0.03 ms and a refresh rate of 240 Hz.
The G95SC should stand out for its use of the Neo Quantum Processor Pro. Using a deep learning algorithm, images are intelligently analyzed and automatically scaled up to adjust brightness and enhance contrast. This model also provides access to a variety of media, from game streaming services from Xbox and Nvidia to OTT service providers.
In addition to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, the G9 DisplayHDR True Black 400 enjoys certification. Multi View allows the screen to be divided into two different windows, which should make multitasking easier. Connectivity includes hdmi 2.1, micro hdmi 2.1 and displayport 1.4 with Auto Source Switch+, followed by a usb hub.
The G95SC will be available from July 3, with a suggested retail price of 2,199 euros. Expected in the third quarter of this year is the G93SC, which should offer the same performance but do without the Smart functionality. The manufacturer has not yet mentioned a price tag for this sku.
